THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE BOA.RD'OF PUB-T,10 SAFETY WAS HELD IN THE

MOeting,was called to order at 4:10 P.TV1. by Pres. Engledrum. All
members were present.,
ITIotion prevailed to cli'spense with the reading of the minutes of the
last regular meeting.
POLICE DEPT.
FIRE DEPT.
Bills to were approved and ordered paid.
Motion prevailed to accept and place,on file the applications of Ililo
Hoffman and Donal& Edward Smith.
Fire Chief Knoblock reports that individual beds are being provided
for all fireman necessary be I dding has been procured, and all furniture
and beds have been painted and repairedin all fire stations Also the
plumbing and heating in fire stations have been put in good condition.
ELECTRICAL DEPT.
Motion prelwailed to accept and place on file the weekly report of
Supt, Quallls for week ending November lst. 1926.
Mr. kicely,made a motion to turn traffic light at South 01ich. st. out
during the middle of the day. Action was defered until meeting of Nov.8th

Motion prevailed to accept and place on file the weekly report of
City Sealer Burns for the week ending November lst. 1926.

Mr. Nicely was not present
Minutes of the last regular meeting were read and approved,
FIRE DEPT.
Bills #/IS 'to #Z"were approved and ordered paid.
Motion prevailed to accept and place on file the a plications of Joseph
A Maciejewski, Byron H. Jones, Ralph H. Brockhans Edward Banicki, and
John Arzaklas.
Motion prevailed to allow Fire Chief Knoblock to attend State Fire chiefs
Convention at Indianapolis on November 10th., and llth.

Motion prevailed to accept and place on file the weekly report of Supt.
Qualls for week ending Nov. 6th. 1926.
Supt. Qualls submitted a report of North axkd_South and East and West ####
traffic at South and ToTich St. between 9:15 Wfid 4:30 I.I.M. Report is filed
With Supt. Pualls weekly report of Nov. 6th.
Upon a motion by Pres. Engledrum and a second by Mr. Re eder it was
decided not to change the present traffic signal arrangment at South &
Michigan St.

F. Kreczmer.
Motion prevailed to co-operate with the Local,American Leagon Post i4
their plan to observe Armistiae Day, and Chief of Police Hatt was ordered
to idstruct traffic officers to spop all traffic on that 'day between
10:59 and 11:00 A.M.
