Tyr Nicely was not present Minutes of last meeting were read and approved, Fire Dept Bills r 128 to 131 incl. were approved and ordered paid. Chief Knoblock reported that ladders *and other equipment-are being repaired, and will soon be in first class condition. Also beds and other furniture in hose houses are being repaired and painted. Motion to accept and place on file the application of" ax Dombrowski for the Fire Dept. Dept of Weights and Measures. Weekly report of City Sealer Burns was accepted and ordered placed on file. Electrical Dept. Weekly report of Supt. Qualls was accepted and ordered placed on file Police Dept Bills ;r 471 to 494 inc1. were approved and ordered paid. Police Women ":Irs Evans appeared before the hoard., and. covered briefly her hours, duties, and cited a few example cases that she has attended to to that-,.the Board might have a better conception of her work. lrs. Evans was instructed to keep a record of the cases that she attended to, "and to be in a position to furnish th Board with information or stattsttcs dealing with her office. Mrs Evans was invited by the Board to call upon then at any time for council or assistance in any matters t. concerning her office.
