a ' motion. instructed. Mr. Burns the City Sealer to attend a eonferedee
of city sealers to be held in Indianapolis June,24 and 25 The - meeting
to be held under the auspices' of I, L, `.Miller , state sealer of
weights and measures,.A communica tion from Mr Miller was read previ
to the making of the motion in which he asked that the newly appointed
sealer he sent to the conference, Lotion prevailed approving req, No
10 signed by the City sealer.
Lotion.prevailed to approve Bills from No 336 to 366
for the Police Dept, and tl}e same were ordered paid,
On motion of Mr. Nicely and a second by qtr. Reeder -the
meeting adjourned at 5 p,.m.

On motion of Mr, Engeldrum acid a second by Mr. Reeder
J. aKnight -was appointed an operator for the Police and - Fire Alarm

station replacing James Smith who is 616Y.
Lotion prevailed to have the Fire Chief secure the
services of a boiler inspector. and make an inspection of the boilers
in all of the fire stations.. _
y Motion prevailed to pay the"dues of Chief James Hatt
r. to " the International Association of Chief's of Police,
" Lotion prevailed to accept the report of the Oity Sealer
of Weights and leasures for the week as well as a "report -covering
his activities at the state convention of Sealers of WAghts and
measures and that the same be placed on file, Permmission was given
the "Chief of Police to attend the Convetion of Chietsof Police to
be held in Chicago July 19th,.to 22nd, inclusive,
On motion of Lr. Reeder the meeting adjourned at 5x2
p and Lr. Engeldrum Prest, of the Board announced that the next,
regular m tin g wi be held July 3d. at 3 p,m,

Motion prevailed to purchase one tir "e from Holyc0,mss and -Nye- and
one Tire from Zack Taylor for the fire dept,

the activities of the patrolmen in regard to parks the Chief" of
Police -be instructed to prepare said report,
On motion of Lr, Raeeder the clerk wa instructed to secur

blouses for the patrolmen with the exception of Captains and have >
`. same made a part of the patrolman's equipment.'
Bids for coal in the the fire dept, were opened and action
on same was def -erred until such time as"they can be tabulated.
Lotion prevailed to accept the report of the weights and
Measures Dept and the Electrical Dept. and Alie same was ordered
a placed on file.
