ELEICTRICAL DEPARTMENT:- REQUISITIONS PRESENTED & APPROVED. numbers 564 to 575 inclusive were approved. Supt. Qualls presented weekly.report for the week ending July 16th. 1925. WEIGHTS & MEASURE DEPARTMENT:- Reed ISM Hawthorne presented weekl yrpot for the week ending July 17th. 1925. POLICE DEPARTMENT: - REQUISITIONS PRESENTED & APPROVED. Numbers 2199 to 2212 inclusive were approved, Motion prevailed that the resigination:of mounted. officer N. T. Jones, be accepted same to take effect July 29th. 1925. Motion prevailed that the applications of S. _F. Sink, Sjilvester M. Zchmidt for positions in the police department were accepted and ordered placed on file. Motion prevailed that officer Frank Szamecki, be promoted t11 rank of sereeaxnt same to take effect from July 15th. 1925. Mr. Szamecki appeared ,before the Board and was told to take care of,.,tne trucks for the electrical depprtment and he is to have a helper to e.$s' in the work when needed. All memebrs being present, minutes of previous meeting were read and approved. FIRE DEPARTMENT: - REQUISITIONS PRESENTED & APPROVED. Numbers 969 to 987 inclusive were approved. BILLS PRESENTED AND ALLOWED. Vouchers numbered.969 to 987 inclusive were allowed. Sealed bids were received on Fire hose as follows: - The Manhattan Rubber-Mfg. Co., Passaic N. J. Fulton Special 22" Double Jacket 1$1.10 per ft. Economy double jacket CRL. 12" hose IM .672 der foot. A contract was signed with the Manhattan Rubber Mfg. Co., for six hundred --(600) feet 2211 hoase at $1.10 per ft and three hundred ( 30)) feet of the 12" hose 1. 672 per ft. The Eureka Fire Hose Mfg. go., of Ne Jersey. Lobby brand double jacket 2211 hose 11.10 per ft. A contract was signed with the Eureka Fire Hose Mfg. Co., for six hundred feet (609X't.) of the 22" hose 1.10 per ft. ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT:- REQUINITIONS PRESENTED & APPROVED. Numbers 57.6 to 585 inclusive were.approved. BILLS PRESENTED AND ALLOWED.
