All memebrs being present, minutes of previous meeting were read adds approved. FIRE DEPARTMENT : - REQUISITIONS PRESENTED& %APPROVED.' Number 844 -- Printing- 847 - -Index Cards. -848 - -Flap & Tubes. Motion prevailed that the Application of Cecil Price, for a position in the Fire Department be accepted -and placed on file. Chief SiVrel, made a report Of the accident.Sept. 17, 1924. when truck No. 8.killed pairs. Mrs. Lottie Wieczorek,,- and sworn statements were placed on file as the C•ornner, (Dr.,Crumpaeker) exonerated the driver of the truck (Edward A. limtz.) as an unovidable accident ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT : - REQUISITIONS PRESENTED -& APPROVED. Numbers 281 - 282 - 285 -to 290 inclusive. Supt.' Qualls, presented weekly report fot the week ending Sept. 19th. 1924. Hawthorne, presented weekly report for the week ending Sept. 19th. 1924. •POLICE DEPARTMENT:- Motion prevailed that the Bond.of Serg't. Luther, as principal and Dr6. H. M. Crow, and Edward Luther, as surties, for One Thousand, ($1,000.00) was approved. Motion prevailed that the Board of Public ':'forks, be petitioned to have Are. lights errected at Six alley inteseection in the down town section. The followin men appeared before the Board and were questioned regarding their applications for positions in the Police Department, Ira. N. Williams, Mathew N. Me Kinkey, Paul Helmich, Geo. Voelkel, John S. Price, 'Sm. Ortmann, V. S. Zoss, Alicy E. Snyder, but were not appointed. Potion prevailed that the following men who appeared before the Board were appointed and informed that' -91g men who'passed the best physical examinations would be accepted and that they were to being duty as soon as possible.Homer Ames, Carl w. 'Ailey, A. E. Nelson, Earl Stacher, Willis, H. Sriver', Albert Taber, 'gym. Dietrich, W.M. H..Winans, Claude Keller, Arthur Beyers, Everett R. Tallman. and Edwin J.
