FIRE DEPARTMENT:- REQUISITIONS PRESENTED AND AERROVED. 748 to `749 inclusive were approved,. ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT:-' Supt. Qualls presented weekly report for the week ending May 16th. 1924. Motion prevailed that a Fire Alarm box be installed at the corner of Soria St, and Niles Ave. upon which Mr. Qualls preported favorable. WEIGHTS & MEASURE DEPARTMENT: - Reed I. Haw$Thorne, presented. weekly report for the week ending May 16th. 1924. POLICE DEPARTMENT : - REQUISITIONS PRESENTED & .APPROVED. 1455 to 1483 t,4nclt sive were approved. Sergt. Delinski and detective E. Baxter, appeared before the ' Board and were requested to explain the automible accident they had with the Ford louring car on May 11th. at 5 P. M. and after being requested to explain same they were exonerated. = Motion prevailed that the following named applications for positions in the Police Department, Fred Ullery, John Hilinski, were orederd placed on file. Lotion; prevailed that the purebb►se of new tire for the White Patrol, be deferred for one week. Paul A? Heiermann, clerk of the Board was abbent, being out of the city. All members being present, minutes of previous meeting were rdad and approved. FIRE DEPARTMENT • -m BILLS PRESENTED & ALLOWED. Vouchers numbered 692 to 714 inclusive were allowed. ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT:- BILLS PRESENTED & ALLOWED. Vouchers numbered 1388 to 1396 inclusive were approved. REQUISITIONS PRESENTED &: APPROVED. 179 Lumber. 203- Supplies 204 -- Supplies. 205 -- Tile. 206 -- Supplies. Supt. Qualls, presented weekly report for the week ending May 23rd.. 1924. Lotion prevailed that the petition for the Fire Alarm box to be insatlled at the corner of Dale ave. and Dunmoyer,ave, was rejected on the report received from Chief Sibrel and Supt. Qualls. Motion prevailed that all Moving contractors be (instructed to notify Mr. Qualls, office of all building to be moved upon the streets, stating time they are to be moored and upon what streetb they move inorder to protect the Police & Fire Alarm wires. POLICE DEPARTMENT: - REQUISITIONS PRESENTED & APPROVED. Numbers 1484 to 1508 inclusive were approved. BILLS PRESENTED & .ALLOWED. Vouchers numbered 1397 to 1433 inclu.siver were allowed. Motion prevailed that the application of Harry H. Henderson, for reinstatement as a member 06 the police Aepartmehat was ordered placed on file. Motion prevailed that the followingapplications for positions in*the Police Department were accepted and ordered placed. on file. John H. Au.dert, Ferd P4 Shelenberger, Glenn Beaecker, Frank Jagwiak, and C l aaud a Young.
