Motion prevailed that the resigination of officer James H. Hibbs,
be accepted..
Motion prevailed that the. following application for positions
be accepted and were ordereA,'rlaced on file, A. E. Nelson, ft. H.
Ortmann and Fred C. Cleghorn.
A communication was received. from Joe. E. Sayles, (Colored)
regarding the appointment of a colored man as a member of the Politer
Department, and the Clerk of the Board was instructed to advise that
the Quota was full and that we have about 200 applications of file
for position in the Police Department.
