meeting called to order at 5 P. It All members being present,
minutes of previous meeting were read and approved.
FIRE DEPARTMENT: -
REQUISITIONS PRESENTED AND APPROVED.
728 to 732 inclusive were approved.
Motion prevailed that the applicatio4 of Stanley A Nie2gody8ki,
~ for a position i tie Fire Department was o dered placed on file.

..Clarence McGill, John Garter , Joseph Sieradzki. and the Fire men'
were exonerated but they were warned against carelessness in driving.
ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT:
Supt: Qualls, presented weekly report for the week ending April
24th. 1924.
Electricians Ivan C. quick, and Henry Sherman, appeared before
the Board and were requested to explain the automible accidant which
oacured April 18th. and after explaining the accident it was found
that they were not to blame for the accident.
WEIGHTS & MEASURE DEPARTMENT:-
REQUISITION PRESENTED & APPROVED.
#9. Use of Auto for the month of April. 1924.
POLICE DEPARTMENT:-
REQUISITIONS PRESENTED & APPROVED.
1429 to 1445. inclusive were approved.
Motion prevailed-that the applications of Geo. wolf, Chas.
g weehewrowski, and Albert H. Butts, were ordered placed on file.
Ioti4n prevailed that Ray E. Foyle, be appointed as a member of
the Police Department and that he take the physical examination,

the Hordes for the Mounted Squad .

733 to 746 inclusive were approved.
Motion prevailed that the applications of 'Nm. Hudak and
Valentine werwas, for positions in, the fire department were ordered
placed on file..
T4e following men =appeacred before the B ®etd and were questioned
regarding their appplications for position in the fire department .-
Arthur Howard, and Clarence E. Wallis; and both were appointed and
requested to take the physical examinatfLon and report for duty when
called.
Motion prevailed that the clerk of the Board be authoritized to
advertize for bid ln
s on 295 Toms of Caomore or less for the different
Fire Stations, Bids to.be opened May 30th.

Contracts were signed with the Indiana.& Michigan Elec. Co.,
for current at the new Police_& Fire Alarm system Bldg.,

May. 2nd. 1924.

Dr. C. A. Tholipson, presented monthly report for the month of
April.
