Lotion prevailed. that Alton Le Herbst, be appointed as a member of the Police Department, and to report for.duty as soon as he ?passed the Physical examination. All members being present, minutes of previous meeting were read and approved. FIRE DEPARTINENT :i REQUISITIONS PRESENTED & APPROVED. Numbers 722 to 726 inclusive were approved. \ Motion prevailed that tha application of Victor Slott, for a post.tion in the Fire Department was accepted and ordered placed on f file. ELECTRICAL 'DEPARTYEIJT :- REWISITIONS PRESENTED & APPRO" ED. 191 -- One Pole. 192 -- Postage Stamps. Supt. Qualls presented weekly report for the week ending April 17th. 1924. WEIGHTS. & 1EISURE DEPART14E NT: - -Reed I. Hawthorne, presented weekly report for the week ending April. 17th. 1924. POLICE DEPARTMENT:- P.EQUSITIONS PRESENTED & APPROVED. Numbers 1395 to 1428.Inclusive were approved. - T,Totionfprevailed that the resigination of H. H. Henderson, as a member of the Police Dept, was accepted on account of his Physical condition. Mtdon prevailed that Nelson F.. Jones, be appointed as a-.rmember of the Police Dept. same to take effect from April 11th. as he was on duty from this date. T Motion prevailed that Harry L. Ambs, be reinstated. as a member of the Police Dep't. he is to be reexamined and if accepted by the Pension Board he is to be *in duty as Boon as possibdd. Motion prevailed that the applications of Welter,Hood, Donald Snyder, John Tarnocy, and Ididorl Van Hoke, for position in the Police Dept. were accepted and order placed on file. Motion prevailed that Chief Lane and the Clerk of the Board be authoritized to rpurchhee chairs for the Squad room. The folly ring men appeared before the Board and ivere questioned regarding thier -applications for position in the ''olive Department and were requested to fake the physical exa,mimation, Clarence G. Schavey, Randall Audtin, A. H. 1:2c Callum, Frank C. Meisner, Ernedt Nelson, Leo. D. Williams, William T.
