Motion prevaildd that the application of C. J. ',-Williams, for
a position in the Fire Department be .placed on file.
Bids were received for Fire Hose and contracts,were signed
with the Manhattan Rubber Mfg. Co., ?assa.ic , No J. for 800 Ft.
22" Hose Brand ".Fulton Special Double Jacket at 97$ per, foot,
and contract with the °United States Rubber Co.,' Chicago, Ill,
for 800 Ft. "Nobby Double Duty Brand ". at $1.10 per foott 600 ft.

member of the Police department was accepted.
Motion prevailed that the application of Tjeo. E. Langthorn,
for a It' n in the Police Department be accepted and that he be
appointed and, to begin duty as soon as he passed the physical
examination.
