for``a position in the Fire Department was ordered -plaoed on file.
Sealed bids were opendd fora chassis for the Fire Department,
and motion prevailed that the bid og the Colfax Co., of-this city
fora 1.5.-45 White chassis was accepted price $3,721.0-25. and Chief
Sib r el was-,requested to appear fefore the Common Council at their
meat regula't,. meeting to get their approval and ordinahce was not
to be presented. until after January 1st. 1924,
