Minutes of previous meeting were read and approved.

Supt. Beanirg presented peport for the work done in his depar
tment ending Aug. 23rd.1922. which was approved.

The Clerk of the Board was instructed to draw up an ordinah.ce
asking for the sum of Five Thousand dollars ($5,000.00) for the
Police Miscellaneous fund, this amount being require for this
fund for the balance of the year.
A resulution was received from common council signed by council-
man Mr. R. M. Hutchinson, with respect to the use of the streets
by drivers of trucks and with respect to violations of certain
laws and otdinances of the city of South Bend, which was refered to
Chief Lane.
