ELECTRIC 1Y, - REQUISITION PRESENTED & APPROVED. 40 - Salaries first half of July. Motion prevailed that the position held by W. L. Augustine, be declared vacant, and Earl Havens be! appointed to fill vacancy. and to begin duty as a lineman on Aug. 2nd. 1922. Motion prevailed that the application of 14. C. Hobbs, for a position as a lineman be placed on .file. Supt. Beaning presented report of work done in his department durdng the week ending July 27; 1922. Motion prevailed that the application of Alex G._Broo, for a Position in the Police department be rejected. On account of report from one of his former employer. Motion prevailed that the Chief of Police, Chief of Fire Det't. and the Clerk of the Board of salaries be increased b ordinance as follows Chiefs salaries increased from $2600.00 to 3,500.00 er year and the salary of the Clerk of the Board be increased from 1,500.00 to $2,000.00 per year.
