I that Petition by George L. Rulison attorney for
t he defendendant, Joseph 'Szweda to set aside order of dismissal and.
F,rqnt a new hearing- and for reinstatement was rejected.
Motion prevailed that Application from Herman G. Schrick-er,
'Henry Sherman, and G. 1,1. Boswell for positions in the police
department were ordered placed on file.
Motion prevailed that petitions by Earl W. Van Dusen and
Arthur J. Austin signed by a number of business men for positions
in the Police deptartment were ordered placed on file. hur. J. Austin
Motion prevailed that Herman G. Schricker and Art
be -appointed as members of the Police Department, Mr. Austin was
appointed as requested by a - petition signed by the members of the
Park Board.
A petition for a Fire Alarm Box to be installed in the
vicinity of Kensington Addition was ordered placed on file and
Supt. Thos. 1 3eanin Was to investigate and make a report as to
the expense of installing an alarm in that vicinity."
Motion prevailed to adjourn.
