Motion prevailed that the resiginations of Frank Rreezmer
and Herbert D. Mielke as members of Police Department be accepted.
Motion prevailed.that the,bond of Luther Lane Probation
officer as principal and the National Surety Co. as surety dated
January 16th. for the sum of One thousand dollars be approved.
REQUISITIONS PRESENTED AND ALLOWED.

Represenatives from the different candy manufactures of this
city appeared be -for the board and Mr. J. S` Young of the Weber
Candy Co. presented a petition asking for permission allowing punch
boards to be used to distribute boxes of candy in this city and
the petition was placed on file for futhur consideration.
Mr. P. F. Apgar salesman for the Yawman & Erbe Mfg Co., of
Rochester , N. Y. and Mr. R. S. Keller salesman for the The Safe
Cabinet Co. of Marietta, Ohio. appeared befor the Board submitting
prices and explaining their systems for finger print records Etc.
to be used in the detective department also quoted prices on steel
filing cabinets.
The following names of men who appeared befor the board and
were questioned regarding their applications for positions in the
police departments. Frank E. Ransbarger, John B. Cler4ens, Guy W. Rudd,
John Stasinski, J. E. Me Geir, Stanley Andrzejewski, Casmier Kubiak,
Ernest G. Zimmerman and Earl Van Dusen. of which the following were
appointed Frank E. Ransbarger, John B. Clemens and Stanley Andrezjewski.
