S?fety. Meeting called to order at 5 P.M. President L. J.
Smith being absent. Vice Prps. Nelson H. Kyser acting as
Chairman of meeting.
Minutes of previous meeting approved.
Chief Sibrel presented'requisitions 1152 for supplies
and 1153 for repairs which were approved.
Surt. Beaning presented requisition no. 255 for
miscellenous expenses, freight, etc., which was approved.
Petitions were received from Julius V ^n Overwnlle
and Charles Turnock for appointment as policemen which were
placed on file.
notion prevailed that Lucius La Fortune be oDpointed
as a member of the Police De- nartment to begin duty on Aug. 1st,
1921.
Su-nt. Benning presented report of work done by
his department during week ending August lst, 1921.
Motion prevailed to Adjourn.

were approved;--

1161 -- supplies & repairs.

1168 -- gas and are maintenance.
1169 -- supplies.

Arplication of Mike A. Pukropp for posttion as
fireman was placed on file.
City Sealer tiller presented report for month of
July and presented requisition for lead seA.ls which was.appreved.
Supt. Beaning presented following renuisitions which
were spproved.
256 -- SA7 pries for the first half of Aug. 1921.
257 -- Rerairs for Ford eA.r, fan belt, wrench, etc..
258 -- hardware supplies.
ArDlieations were received fro:v Charles Turnoek
Russel E. Meyers,. Thomas S. Gr %egorek and Erick W. Frappe for

re instatement which were all placed on filed.
Chief Kline reported that F., B. Curtis was hit
kilethe Police Ca,dillAc while riding a bicycle, injuring his
knee and ruining his trousers. 'lotion prevailed that his claim
be settled for a new pair ofC trousers.
