AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $10,000 FROM THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT STATE
GRANT FUND FOR THE PURPOSE OF ASSISTING IN THE REHABILITATION OF THE STATE
THEATRE IN DOWNTOWN SOUTH BEND
Statement of Purpose and Intent:
In order to assist in the renovation and revitalization of the downtown, some assistance to
downtown organizations and businesses is sometimes necessary and to further the implementaion of certain
communicty objectives, appropriations are needed:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana,
as follows:
SECTION I. The sum of $10,000 is hereby appropriated from the City of South Bend's Economic
Development State Grant Fund (Fund 210) to be used by Center City Associates to assist in the
rehabilitation of the State Theatre in downtown South Bend.
SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the
Common Council and approval by the Mayor.
