AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $37,162.00, INCLUDING
$25,231.00 IN RENTAL REHAB FUNDS TO THE
ST. JOSEPH COUNTY HOIISING CONSORTIUM FOR HOIISING PROJECT
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT
There exists a balance of $25,231.00 in the Rental Rehab
account of the City of South Bend. The South Bend Common Council
has determined that in order to assure the efficient and timely
utilization of Rental Rehab funds, and to further the
implementation of certain community objectives, it is advisable to
appropriate these funds to the St. Joseph County Housing
Consortium, In addition, the South Bend Common Council has
determined it is advisable to appropriate an additional sum of
$11, 931.00 to the St . Joseph County Housing Consortium from the St .
Joseph County Housing Consortium fund, for housing purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the
City of South Bend, Indiana, as follows:
SECTION I. The sum of $37,162.00 is hereby appropriated to
the St. Joseph County Housing Consortium for use in connection with
housing projects, from the following sources:
Rental Rehab Account $25,231.00
St. Joseph Housing Consortium Account 11,931.00
$37,000.00
SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage by the Common Council and approval by
the Mayor.
