APRIL 12, 1979
An Emergency Meeting of the Board of Public Works was convened
at 1:55 p.m. on Thursday, April 12, 1979 by President Patrick
M. McMahon, with Mr. McMahon and Mr, Brunner in attendance.
The purpose of the meeting was to receive and file information
regarding liability coverage for the launching of a hot air
balloon on Monday, April 16, 1979 from the Marycrest Parking
Lot, 2015 W. Western Avenue, sponsored by the Richardson for
Mayor Committee. The Board received verbal verification from
Mrs. Kathleen Cekanski - Farrand that Urbine- Sides, Inc. Insurance
Company will provide the insurance coverage for the event.
Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Brunner and
carried, the Board acknowledged receipt of the liability
insurance information.
Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Brunner and
carried, the meeting adjourned at 2:00 p.m.
