Board here- by approves the recommendation of the Electrical Superintendent. Application of Charles Howell for special police permit is hereby denied by the Board. Special police permit for Dean J. Armstead and Bert E. Danilowicz is hereby approved by the Board. Application for the Fire Department were examined and placed on file for Wendell Leo Klota. Applications for the Police Auxiliary School Patrol were approved and placed on file for Martha Wilkins. One of the ambulettes which is now in the jurisdiction of the Police Department is herewith transferred to the jurisdiction of the Fire Department. Officers' reports were received and placed on file from Sgt. Pajor, Lt. E. Nowak, and Officer L. M. Bussert. The Board hereby approves the appointment of the following applicants to the Fire De- partment of the City of South Bend, Indiana: Louis Walkowiak Anton J. Csenar Donald Roytek Edmund Hajducki The abovenamed, having passed all necessary examination and also having passed physi- cal examination by both the City Doctor and Pension Doctor, their appointment to the Fire Department of the City of South Bend, Indiana shall be come effective on the 28th day of January, 1957.
