Casi.mer Rybak.
Applications for the Police Department were examined and approved for Y. C.
Magee.
Nicholas Horvath recommends the installation of a 4000 lumen light on Twenty -
fifth Street between Hastings & Wall Street; 23rd Street between Hastings & Wall
Street; in the 2900 block of Vine Street; on 27th Street between 500 and 600
blocks. Board hereby approves the recommendation of the Electrical Department
Superintendent.
There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was
adjourned at 10:30 A.M. (CST).
Also, the Clerk of the Board is authorized to advertise for a 1957 4 -Door
Sedan and also automobile fire apparatus for the Fire Department as per the
specifications as submitted to the Board by the Fire Chief. A

A regular meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held on Wednesday, December
26, 1956 at 10:00 A.M. (CST). All members were present. Minutes of the previous
regular meeting were read and approved. Claims in the total amount of $3009.73
were approved and ordered paid to the following suppliers:

Applications for the Police Auxiliary School Patrol were examinaed and placed
on file for Lucille Verna Stankiewicz and Ann Elizabeth Locsmondy.
Applications were approved and placed on file for Delvin A. Harman.
Upon recommendation by the Chief of Police a probationary taxi -cab license will
be issued to Asi Sangster. It being understood that if said applicant in any way vi-
olates the law his license will immediately become null and void.
