Applications for the Police Department were examinaed and placed on file for Maurice Eugene Holvoet, Jr. A special police permit was approved for Jay OtTheron Blankenship. 1 1 1 Upon recommendation by the Police Chief that evidence having been submitted that the Special Police Permit which was iasued to Clarence J. Meyers, 806 Lincolnway East on the 19th day of October, 1956 shall be terminated as of this date. The Board now approves the recommendation of the Police Chief and said permit shall terminate as of this date. Further, the.,Police Chief is hereby authorized to so notify said Clarence Meyers. The time now being 10:10, it was so announced and the bids for the Electrical De- partment were opened. Proof of publication having appeared in the South Bend Tribune with an affidavit signed by C. G. Livengood and in the Record with an affidavit signed by W. DeCanio on the 30th day of November and the 7th day of December, 1956 was sub- mitted to the Board and found sufficient.
