Nicholas Horvath, Sup't. of the Electrical Department, recommends the following:
he installation of one 4000 lumen light at the intersection of Bendix Drive and Hartzer
tre.et and to increase from 1000 lumen to 4000 lumen the lights located at 116 Elm Street
nd 2426 West Huron Street. Board now approves the recommendation of the Electrical Super -
ntendent.
After due consideration the Board hereby awards the bid for the servi- car'-to Harley -
avidson Sales, 526 West Western Avenue. The bid reads as follows:
Total bid price . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $1406.65
There being no further business to come before the Board, the eeting was adjourned

The monthly report of the Weights & Measures Department was submitted to the Board
by Bert S. Cichowicz, City Sealer. Accepted and placed on file.
Special Police Officer permit application and bond approved this 13th day of Novem-
ber, 1956 for Bud Magee.

A letter was received from Edgar C. Powers, Jr. whereby he informs the Board of his
resignation from the South Bend Fire Department by reason of the fact that he has accepted
a position with the Remington Rand Corporation. The Date of termination of his employment
will be effective as of December 19 1956. Accepted and placed on file.
A letter was submitted to the Board from the Firemen's Pension Fund with reference
to the application of Oliver P. Hensel requesting the ppyment of disability pension of
$216.19 per month. Effective as of December 1, 1956. Application approved by the Board.
A letter was received from Nicholas Horvath, Superintendent of the Electrical. Depart -
ment whereby he recommends the installation of 4000 lumen lights at the intersection of
Bloomfield and Clearview and at 5022 Bloomfield Place.
There being no further business to come before the Board the meeting was adjourned
at 10 :30 A.M. (CST).
