Applications for the Police Auxiliary School Patrol were examined and placed on file for Dorothy Irene Stites. Special Police Permits were approved for Eugene Ronald Borowski and Fred F. Miller. ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT Nicholas Horvath, Superintendent of the Electrical Department, recommends the installation of a 4000 lumen light at 1100 block North Kentucky and 1200 block North Kentucky Street. Also, to increase the lights at 2425 Grace Street and 111 East Tutt Street from 1000 lumen to 4000 lumen. The Board now approves the recom- mendation of the Electrical Superintendent. There being no further business journed at 10:30 A.M. (DST). to come before the Board, the meeting was - HAIRMAN er 29, 1956 ad- A regular meeting of the Board of Public Works & Safety was held on Monday, Octo- ber 29, 1956 at 10:00 A.M. (DS.T). There being no further business to come before the Board the meeting was adjourned at 10:30 A.M. Also, at this meeting the Bids for the Police Department were opened. Probf of publication in the South Bend Tribune with an affidavit signed by C. G. Livengood and in the Record with an affidavit signed by W. DeCanio was submitted to the Board and found sufficient. The Board now proceeds with the ppening of the bids: Harley Davidson Sales A non- collusion affidavit accompanied 526 Western Avenue the bid. South Bend, Indiana The bids will be AV!
