MAY 17, 1956
A special meeting'of the Board of Public Safety was held on Thursday, May 17,
it 11:30 A.M. (DST). All members were present.
The Board of Trustees of the Firemen's Pension Fund submitted to the Board a
etition for a service pension from the Firemen's Pension Fund for Henry Fred Brandley.
he Board now accepts and approves the petition and payment of said pension shall be-
ome effective as of June 11 1956.
There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was ad-
iourned at 11:45 A.M. (DST).

ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT
In keeping in line with the uniform lighting plan of Mayor Voorde for the City
of South Bend, Indiana, Ira Hunsberger recommends that a 4000 lumen light be installed
at the following locations: Johnson and Parallel Streets, Brookfield and Parallel
Streets, Jackson and Parallel Streets, 822 Cleveland Avenue, and between 1138 and
1142 East Fox Street. The Board now approves Mr. Hunsberger's recommendation.

Richard Louis Toth.
