HomeMy WebLinkAbout03/19/1956 Board of Public Safety MinutesMARCH 15, A special meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held on Monday, �iliarch 15, 1956 at 9 :45 A.M (CST). All members were present. Motion by Frank J. Bruggner is now made for the appointment of the ollowing members to the South Bend Fire Department: Louis Frank Jonas, 1629 S. Jackson St., South Bend, Indiana Leonard Raymond Klosinski, 818 Birchwood Avenue, South Bend, Indiana Richard Joseph Kaczmarek, 1350 N. OtBrien St., South Bend, Indiana Joseph Frank Winnicki, 714 S. Webster Street, South Bend, Indiana It was seconded by R. S. Andrysiak, and unanimously approved by the ard. The above applicants having successfully met all',standards necessary or the Fire Department and the physical examination by the City Doctor and lso by the Pension Doctor having been passed by said men, the Board now pproves the appointment of the above applicants to the Fire Department of he Municipal City of South Bend, Indiana. There being no further business to come before the Board of Public >afety, the meeting was adjourned at 9:55 A.M. (CST). Board approves Mr. Hunsberger's recommendation. POLICE DEPARTMENT Special Policemen Bonds were approved for Robert J. Pinkowski and Albert Vacsil. Applications for the Police Department were examined and ordered filed for Alurlin Devon Freeze and John Joseph istenes. FIRE DEPARTMENT Application for the Fire Department were examined and ordered filed for LeRoy Wayne Collins and Peter Roman Ratajczak. There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was adjourned at 11 :40 A.M. (CST).
