A regular meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held on Tuesday,

A etition was received from Ira Hunsberger,'Superintendent of the Elec-
trica� Department, recommending that a 4000 lumen light be installed on the
northwest corner of the alley on St. Peter Street between Howard Street &
Corby Blvd. Approved by the Board.
A petition was received from Ira Hunsberger, Superintendent of the Elec-
trical Department, recommending that a street light be installed in the alley
at the rear of 312 South Kentucky Street. This is not a cross alley at this
location and the Board now adopts that no light be installed at this location.
The Board then reviewe,�l the bids for the Electrical Department opened at
the previous meeting and awarded the bid to the following:
Scherman- Schaus- Freeman Co. A Non - Collusion Affidavit and
520 South-Lafayette St. certified check in the amount
South Bend, Indiana of $133. accompanied the bid.

Less discount and allowance 967.95
Total for 1 unit $1321.05
FIRE DEPARTMENT
Fire app ca ions for the following were examined and ordered filed: George
Robert Brugh, Leroy Cobb, Eugene Joseph Grayckowski, Ernest Felix Kostiel-
eney, and Ronald John Pietrzak.
POLICE DEPARTMENT
Police application for the following were examined and ordered filed
for the following: Robert Dean Makowski and Julius Richard Wilk.
