A regular meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held Monday,
ecember 5, 1955, at 10 :00 A. M. All members were present. Minutes of the
revious meetingg were read and approved. Salary claims -, in the total
mount of $83,682.01, were approved. Claims of the following suppliers,
n the total amount of $5775.62, were approved and ordered paid:
DEPARTMENT:
Fire Chief, R. J. Duck, being present brought to the attention of the
ard, the urgent need for the reroofing of the hose tower of Fire Station
9, and informed the Board that La -Rite Roofing & Insulating Co., Inc.,
it proceed with this work, the initial cost of which is to be $255.00.
nds being available, the Clerk was directed to issue formal purchase
der, encumbering the amount of $255.00 for payment to this firm and
rving as notice to proceed with the roofing of this hose tower.
POLICE DEPARTMENT:
The Board next considered the charges on file against Patrolman Erwin
F Kowalski, now covered by a bill of particulars, and set the date of
D cember 12, 1955, at 11 :00 A. M. for disposition of this case. The Clerk

The Police Department application of Robert L. Jones was next
e amined and ordered placed on file.
The Fire Department application of Raymond M. Richard was examined
d ordered filed.
There being no further business to come before the Board, the
eeing was adjourned at 11 :20 A. M.
