A regular meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held November 7,
1955, at 10100 A. M. All members were present. Minutes of the previous
meeting were read and approved. Salary claims, in the total amount of
$83,195.83, were approved. Claims of the following suppliers, in the total
amount of $1403.52, were approved and ordered paid:

ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT:
The recommendation of
Supt. Ira
Hunsberger for the installation
of a
4000 lumen light on South Gladstone Avenue, between Huron and Ford
Streets,
and on Medora Street,south of Bulla Street,
was given the approval
of the
Board.
Supt. Hunsbergerts recommendation
to reconnect light No. J306
-188,
on Garland Road was approved
by the Board.
The report of Supt. Hunsberger's
investigation, pertaining to
petition, dated October 17,
Seebirt Place, was
1955, calling
for an additional light on
given consideration
and action in the matter deferred.
WEIGHTS & MEASURES:
The Board examined the report of the Inspector of Weights & Measures
for the month of October, and ordered same filed.
POLICE DEPARTMENT
The department's need for a new resusitator and "D" tank was approved
by the.-Board, and the Clerk was directed to confirm by- formal purchase
order, transaction entered into under date of November 3rd.
The Police Auxiliary School Patrol Application of Elizabeth Howell
was examined and ordered placed on file.
FIRE DEPARTMENT:
The Fire Department Report, for runs made into outlying area for
the month of October, was examined and ordered filed.
Fire Department Injury Reports, for the months of September and
October, were examined' and ordered filed.
There being no further business to come before the Board, the
meeting was adjourned at 11 :05 A. M.
