First appeared before the Board, Chief of Police, R. J. Gillen, and
esented to the Board the written resignation of Officer. Robert W. Seals.
e resignation of Officer Seals.was accepted by the Board, effective
vember 15, 1955, and the Officer, upon the recommendAtinn of the Chief
Police, was granted terminal leave, with pay, ending November 15, 1955•
F�RE DEPARTMENT:
Fire Chief, R. J. Duck, being present, brought to the attention of the
Board his department's need for five new gas masks.' The Board granted
authorization for the purchase of this equipment.
ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT:
Supt. Ira Hunsberger was present and upon his recommendation the Board
approved the installation of a 4000 lumen light at the northwest corner of
Ewing Avenue and Robinson Street, and at the terminus of Haney Avenue with
alley paralleling the New York Central Railroad right of way.

Petitions calling for improved lighting at the following locations were
mined and referred to Supt. Hunsberger for investigation and recommendation:
500 block West Colf ax Avenue
Bulla Street between Medora and Wilbur Streets
FrarAin Street between Garst and Stull Streets.
There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting
adjourned at 11:05 A. M.
