Ira Hunsberger for investi- gation and report: Intersection of Indiana Avenue and Marine Street Intersection of Evergreen-Lane and Sample Street Intersection of Evergreen Lane and Meadow Lane Intersection of Canterbury Street and Sussex Street Eunice Drive from Club Drive to Colfax Avenue. The Board next discussed-and authorized-an allowance of six dollars ($6.00) per day for meals, in lieu of receipts, to apply to members of the Police and Fire Departments when attending schools away from home, either as students or instructors. WEIGHTS & MEASURES: The Board, next examined . A statement of property damage, together with two quotations from local automobile repair shops, pertaining to accident involving the city owned vehicle,operated by the Inspector of Weights and Measures, and the private owned automobile of E. B. Woodford. These papers were referred .to .the office of the City Controller with a view to possible settlement through insurance covering this type of accident.. There being no further business to come before the Board., the meeting was adjourned at 11:20 A. M. Chief of Police, R. J. Gillen, being present, requested additional ime to prepare bill of particulars pertaining to violation of, Rule 12 y Officer Erwin F. Kowalski. Ira Hunsberger submitted his recommendations for the installation a 4000 lumen light at the following locations; all of which were approved the Board: Corby Boulevard,- midway between Nos. 2507 °and 2511 Northwest corner of Corby Blvd. and Harbor-Avenue Corby Boulevard between Nos. 2525 and 2527° Intersection of Corby Blvd. and Delano Avenue West side of Sylvan Lane at a point 400 ft south of Sample 'St. Northeast corner Dubail and Olive Streets 1811 S. Kendall Avenue Northeast corner Marine Street and Indiana-Avenue Northeast corner Sussex Drive and Canterbury Drive Intersection of Elwood Avenue and Canterbury Drive Dead end Eunice Drive at Colfax Avenue Dead end Club Drive at Eunice Drive Pole J234 -621 at the intersection of Van Buren and Wilbur Street.
