This bid was found to have an improper and defective non- collusion affidavit and was, thereupon, rejected without reading or consideration, and certified checks for $894.50 and "$800.00 which accompanied the bid were returned. The bids were taken under advisement for tabulation and further study and the Board advised those present that announcement of successful bidder would be made at a later date. There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was adjourned at 11:55 A.M. Gillen, and resented a request for",RL two weeks leave of absence for Officer Norman sarey to attend annual field training for the 764th Amphibious Tank attalion, in which organization Officer Esarey holds the rank of Master ergeant. The Board approved and granted the required leave. The attention of the Chief was called to a repeated parking violation hick, due to an apparent oversight on the part of the area Traffic Officer, s causing unfavorable comment.
