Hurwich was absent. Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. Salary claims, in the total mount of $82,453.71, were approved. LICE DEPARTMENT: The Board examined estimates submitted for the repair of car owned by Roger Wendel Lea, 818 W. Donaldson Street, Mishawaka, damaged in accident ilIvOlvingIblice Department car operated by Officer E. W. Pfaffenbach, and in line with recommendation of Capta.tin M. J. Voelkel, accepted the estimate of Romy Hammes Company. The Police Department applications of Julius A. Halasz and Frank J. Horvath, were examined and ordered placed on file.
