Gillen 300.00 Indiana Bell Telephone Co. 27.79 Indiana & Michigan Electric 18.56 Mittler Supply Co. 2.80 National Brake Service 43.05 St. Josepht s Hospital 43.00 Whitets Radiator & Body Shop 24.00 The Board first examined certificates of insurance in connection with he construction of Fire Station No. 15. These were found to be in com- liance with provisions of contracts and were ordered filed. The Board next examined certificate of insurance, surety bond, and other apers and correspondence with reference to construction of addition to ire Station No. 4. These papers, having been found in order, the Board irected their proper filing. OLICE DEPARTMENT: The request of the F.O.P. to conduct their annual Police Show was laced before the Board. Captain M. J. Voelkel, being present, advised he Board of the dates of July 25, 26, and 27th as the time set for the olding of this show. No objections being offered, the Board unanimously ranted the request. Request for permission to p�irchase one three -wheel motorcycle was xt granted by the Board, and the Clerk was directed to proceed with e required legal advertising forbids. Request for permission to purchase an additional ambulance type ehicle for the Police Department was next considered, and funds having een appropriated to supply this equipment, the Board directed the Clerk o proceed with the required legal advertising for bids. Police Department application of Ralph J. Wolfe was examined and dered placed on file. RE DEPARTMENT: The Board examined Fire Department application of Richard V. Brekrus, ted,April 5, 1954, filed in,lieu of the original copy which was misplaced, d ordered this placed on file. ECTRICAL DEPARTMENT: Superintendent Ira Hunsberggerrs recommendation, that a 4000 lumen light b installed in the center of 36th - Street, at the Grand Trunk Western c ossing, was accepted by the,Board and the installation was so ordered.
