All members were present. Minutes of the previous meeting were -read and approved. Funds being available, appropriated for such purpose, sufficient to purchase 250 feet, the Clerk was directed to proceed to order that amount. POLICE DEPARTMENT: Chief of Police, Richard J. Gillen, being present, recommended the appointment of Michael Greszcyk, an employee of Goldblatt Brothers Department Store,.as a special police officer in and for the City of South Bend. Appointment was approved by the Board. There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was adjourned at 11 :45 A. M. C a man Attest:� Clerk 1
