A regular meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held Monday,
May 17, 1954, at 10:00 A. M. All members were present. Minutes of the
previous meeting were read and approved. Claims of the following suppliers,

First appeared before the Board, Fire Chief, Richard
took up the matter of providing the Fire Department with
roto - rooter type, at the cost of 0460.00, with a view to

The Fire Department applications of Donald Rodick, Nicholas Tomaszewski,
and Maurice S. VanDeSompele, Jr., were examined and order placed on file.
ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT:
Superintendent Ira Hunsberger, being present, the Board discussed with
h m the necessity and urgency for the transfer of funds to meet certain
committments where it is found that appropriation has been depleted and is
no longer, adequate.
A petition bearing ten signatures, under date of May 13, 1954, for
improved street lighting at the intersection of Carlisle and Dubail, was
referred to Superintendent Hunsberger for investigation and report.

or nt of Joseph E. Hecklinski, an employee of Carson Secret Service,
