In light of the current economic climate and the challenges facing our city, it is believed that this action would be in the best interest of the citizens which we serve. Ann Puzzello I realize that this would be the 4`h year in a row that the legislative branch of Fourth District government would not be receiving a salary increase. As elected public officials, we David Varner are charged with the duty to "manage the finances of the city". Passage of the Fifth District attached ordinance would confirm our belief that "fiscal restraint is required during these tough economic times". Oliver J.
