A Claims Review Meeting of the Board of Public Works was convened at 8:311 a.m. on
IVlonday, August 16, 2€11 d, by Board Merzzber Donald 1~. Inks with Board Member Carl P.
Lttrell present. Board President Gary A. Gi1ot was absent.

Mr- Inks stated that a request to pay claims I~as been. received by the Board; each claim is
fully supported by an invoice, the person receiving the goads or services has approved
the claims; az~d the claims have been Pied with the City Fiscal Clfficer and ccrtilied for
accuracy.

Therefore, M~•, Inks made a motion that after review of the expenditures, the claims be
approved as sublxzitted, Mr. Littre~I seconded the motion, which carried.

Mr, Inks stated the Board is in receipt of a request from.. Miclland Engineez•izrg, 52369
State Road 933, South Bend, Indiana 46624, to temporarily occupy the right of way at
441 East LaSalle Avenue. Pvlidlatzd Engineering is partially ciasing the sidewalk to allow
scaffolding to be pieced for masonry restoration. Temporary fencing will. be placed along
with. warning signs to divert foot traffic. lipan a motion made by Mr- Littz•eII, seconded
by Mr- Inks, and carried, the above refezenced casement was approved.
