AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND,
INDIANA APPROPRIATING $200,000 OF MAJOR MOVES MONIES FROM FUND 202
(MOTOR VEHICLE HIGHWAY) TO COMPLETE ROAD PAVING WORK
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT
The City of South Bend has or will shortly receive and deposit Indiana Major Move
dollars into Fund 202 (Motor Vehicle Highway), to be used in the same manner as all Motor
Vehicle Highway funds are used. In order to complete certain road paving project within the
City of South Bend it is necessary to appropriate the sum of $200,000 from Fund 202 (Motor
Vehicle Highway).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA as follows:
Section I. The sum of $200,000 be and hereby is appropriated from Fund 202 (Motor
Vehicle Highway) to be used for road paving work within the City of South Bend.
Section II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption by
the Common Council and approval by the Mayor.

Attached is an ordinance appropriating $200,000 of Major Move dollars which the City
expects to receive this month. The monies will be used to complete road paving projects.
