AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND,
INDIANA APPROPRIATING $1.59;145 OUT OF FUND 649 TO MAKE THE FIRST
INTEREST PAYMENT ON THE 2006 SEWAGE WORKS REVENUE BOND.
STATEMCNT OF I'URl'OSE AND INTENT
The interest pa}~ment for the Sewage Works Revenue Bonds sold in May of 2006 was not
identified in the 2006 Sewage Works budget request. This interest amounts to $159,145 and is
due in December of 2006. This Ordinance appropriates a total of $159,145 to make these
payments.
NOW, "THEREFORE. BE I"f ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, as follows:
Section I. The sum of $159,145 is hereby appropriated from and set aside within Fund
No. 649 for purposes of making Interest payments on the Sewage Works revenue bonds of 2006
(Account No. 649-0630-472.38-02).
Section II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage b}
the Common Council and approval by the 1\~Iayor.

Dear President Rouse:
The attached ordinance is offered Cor Council consideration. The ordinance deals with
the interest payment for the Sewage Works R~,:~~emle Bonds sold in 1\-lay of 2006 which
~~~as not identified in the 2006 Sewage ~Uorla budget request last September. This
interest amounts to ~ 1 ~9,14~ and is due in December of 2006. This Ordinance
appropriates a total of $1 ~9,14~ to make these payments.
