AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND,
INDIANA APPROPRIATING $60,365 OUT OF FUND 611 TO PAY COSTS FOR
ADDITIONAL SOLID WASTE CONTAINERS
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT
In 2005 the City received funds for purposes of purchasing containers for it s Solid Waste
program. These containers were distributed during the summer and fall of 2005. This Ordinance
appropriates a total of $60,365 to purchase 1,176 additional containers to be used as
replacements for containers that have been lost or stolen and also for new customers.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, as follows:
Section I. The sum of $60,365 is hereby appropriated and set aside within Fund No. 611
for purposes purchasing additional solid waste containers (Account No. 61 1-0610-415.43-09).
Section II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by
the Common Council and approval by the Mayor.

additional solid waste containers.
Dear President Rouse:
The attached ordinance is offered for Council consideration. It deals with new
appropriations from Solid Waste Depreciation Fund.
h12005 the City received fiends for purposes of purchasing containers for it's
Solid Waste program. These containers were distributed during the summer and fall of
200. This Ordinance appropriates a total of $60,36 to purchase 1,176 additional
containels to be used as replacements for containers that have been lost or stolen and also
for new customers.
