AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, APPROPRIATING $186,781 OUT OF FUND 641
TO PAY COSTS FOR INCREASED WATER WORKS MANAGEMENT FEES
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT
In 2006 the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission increased the revenue
requirement that the South Bend Water Works receives from the South Bend
Sewage Works by $186,781. This Ordinance appropriates a total of $186,781 to
make these payments.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The sum of $186,781 is hereby appropriated and set aside
within Fund No. 641 for purposes making additional payments to the South Bend
Water Works (Account No. 641-0630-793.31-07) for management services.
SECTION II. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage by the Common Council and approval by the Mayor.

The attached ordinance is offered for Council consideration. In 2006 the Indiana
Utility Rebulatory Commission increased the revenue requirement :hat the South Bend
Water Worla receives from the South Bend Setivage Works by $186,751. This Ordinance
appropriates a total of $186,781 to make these payments.
