AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH BEND, INDIANA APPROPRIATING $98,664 RECEIVED FROM
THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE FOR THE CEASEFIRE PROGRAM
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT:
In order to deliver services to individuals within our community, the City of South Bend
received funds from the U.S. Department of Justice to insure the delivery of programs, projects
and services through various subgrantees.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South
Bend, Indiana as follows:
Section I. The sum of $98,664 is hereby appropriated within Fund 212 for use by
Ceasefire of South Bend, Inc. in its Ceasefire violence prevention program.
Section II. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by
the Common Council and approval by the Mayor.
