SPECIAL MEETING NOVEMBER 4, 2005
A special meeting of the Board of Public Safety was convened at 8:20 a.m. on Friday,
November 4, 2005, by Board Member Donald L. Alford with Board Members Juanita
Dempsey and Wesley Taylor present. Board President Jesusa Rodriguez was not present.
Also present was Board Attorney Thomas Bodnar and Fire Chief Luther Taylor.
SET HEARING -CHARGE OS-03 -JEREMY DOWNS
Mr. Bodnar introduced Mr. Chris Lewis, who is Jeremy Downs Attorney in this matter.
Mr. Bodnar stated he spoke with Mr: Lewis and Mr. Simeri regarding the hearing date,
and suggested Friday, November 8, 2005, at 9:00 a.m. Mr. Lewis stated the matter would
not take too long on this date.
There being no further discussion, upon a motion made by Mr. Alford, seconded by Ms.
Dempsey and carried, the hearing date of Friday, November 8, 2005, at 9:00 a.m. was set
for the hearing in the matter of Charge OS-03.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Board, Mr. Alford declared the
meeting adjourned at 8:25 a.m.
