Wilson Shirt Factory Complex

The attached appraisals are the two low quotes for appraisals on 1008 W. Sample St,
commonly referred to as the old Wilson Shirt Factory complex, which was added to the
Airport Economic Development Area's acquisition list by on May 21, 2010 by confirming
Resolution No. 2668.
This complex sits on 3.35 acres with approximately 155,000 square feet in buildings. There
are a total of six large brick buildings; four are three stories tall and two are two stories tall.
The property has three parcels, which are very irregular in shape.
Because of the difficulty in appraising this property, the quotes by appraisers are higher
than the Commission's contract limits.
Staff requests approval of the attached two low appraisal quotes for this property, to allow
appraisals to be completed.
