Kolata Deputy Executive Director The attached bill for your consideration and approval will transfer $453,379 in Community Development Block grant funds from activities with funds remaining at program end. This action complements the appropriation of $3,954,000 in 1997 Community Block Grant funds and together they allocate funds in accordance with the 1997 Housing and Community Development Plan. As we discussed with the Community & Economic Development Committee on September 23rd, the 1997 HCD Plan underwent a 30 public comment period in October. In addition, the 1997 HCD Plan was the subject of two public hearings held on October 10, 1996. Comments received during the comment period and public hearings were taken into consideration in developing the final 1997 HCD Plan. If you have any questions regarding this bill, please call me.
