Attached to this memorandum is a proposal from Wightman Petrie to perform a topographic
survey for the Coveleski Stadium Block. When we were purchasing properties in this block
area a couple of years ago, we had boundary and parcel surveys completed but opted to
hold on the topographic survey until our planning got a little farther along. As part of the
final stages of the "inside the fence & outside the fence" design work being completed for
the Coveleski Stadium Block, we need to complete a topographic survey so that we can
better finalize concepts and design. A map of the work area is attached to the proposal.
The proposal for survey services Is $11,550.00 and staff would request snot-to-exceed
amount of $13,000.00 to complete this work. Staff requests Commission approval of this
proposal.

Dear Bill:
Thank you for the opportunity to present our proposal for surveying for the above referenced project.
We have appreciated being able to be of service to you in the past and hope that we can assist you
with this project.
We have reviewed the documentation and files you provided to us and offer the following proposal.
SCOPE OF SERVICES
Topographic survey shall include the following:
• Horizontal and vertical datum will be based upon the same datum as prior work for the City
in this corridor.
• Data collection of existing buildings and topographic features within the boundaries of the
parcel.
• Site limits for the topographic survey will be: the centerline of Lafayette Blvd., the centerline
of Western Ave., the centerline of W. South St. and the centerline of S. Taylor St.
• The parcels located in the northwest corner of the block will not be included in this survey.
Limitations:
• Invert measurements made on storm and sanitary structures will be made from above ground
only, utilizing methods that do not require confined space entry apparatus, such as ventilation
and extraction equipment.

• Utility lines will be shown based on field evidence located during our field survey and per
plans and marking provided by the owner, utility companies, or their representatives. We
cannot certify that all utilities required are available.
The estimated fee for performing the topographic survey will be $11,550.00.
Be assured that all of the above will be delivered in a continuously timely manner with the timetable
of the project held foremost. As you know, Wightman Petrie, Inc. guarantees the best possible
product provided in the most efficient manner and accordingly will stave to reduce costs wherever
possible.
Our services will be billed monthly unless the amounts in any month are not significant. Our monthly
statements will include charges for some expenses that we may incur on your behalf. Should you
have any questions or comments concerning our services or charges during the course of the work,
please bring them to our attention immediately so any problem can be resolved quickly.
If the above is acceptable to you, please sign below and return one signed copy of this proposal at
