Mr Hoover and Atty. Strickiin of studebakers appeared regarding the lighting`in
Sbudebakers 3rd., add. and said they would disregard the Blbd. Lights except the
Four -they .wanted1to�extend.on Erskine:Blvd.- o complete the Blvd. systems, They st
said that the Studebakor Corporation would pay for.the installation of light,`9 and
upk8ep until the -houses were occupied on all streets. Board informed Mr Hoover
and Atty Stricklin to Lake the matter of cost of these lights up with the Indiana
& Michigan Elea. Co. The Board referred the proposition, or placing lights to the
Pole,& Wire Inspector for a report to be presented at the next regular session.
,Bids were received opened and read for Pavement on North Shore Drive from thee west,
line of IMUOis Street tO a point thirty (30) feet west of the east line 6 lot
144 in North Shore Terrace add Parkovash Ave,.from N#►th line of Borth Shore brivea
to the west line of IrequIs Strew; Marquet�*.Ave. fromSeuth line of Angell& Ave. e
to west line of Iroquois Street and Angella Ave. fromSt. Joeph River to East line
og Marquette Ave.
BIDS were submitted by the Albert Construction Co. and the Williston Const. Co,
( Insert, See Original Bids'in files. )
BIDS; were referred to the City Engineer for Tabulation, to be reported on
Wednesday Evening. .
Petiten and Waiver Signed for Paving Streets in North Shore Terrace Add.
Ctract with the Albert Const..Co, as Contractor for Paving Streets in North
Shore Terrace as.provided in Improvement Resolution No. 1530 adopted July 7th., it
192$ signed and,constructioa Bond in the sue of S 209274,00 attached thereto w1►
with the Metrop.olitian Casualty Insurance Co. as surety. Approved contract and beet
bond ordered filed.
Petition received from property owners on Logan Street asking the Board to
consider Vibrolithie as the type of pavement on Logan Street. The Board
declared it was to late to include it in the specifications and placed same
on file.
