Indian& C Michigan Elec Company to use measures as may be required
to secure the lighting of South Michigan -Street from -Ohio Street, to Broadway by *ztendin
the Oranmental Business lighting, saute to be placed twice the distance apart that is
used in the business distance. Lights to be staggered and to cost at $70,00 a light
per year.

Board stet in regular session at-7:15 P.M. All members present.
Petition filed by property owners on Cherry Street from
Jefferson Street to a point north of the inters* otion of the w*st line of Cherry
Street with the northerly right of way -line of New York Central R. W. signed by the
Malleable Steel Range Company by H. A. Woolv*rton Secy & Treas., et,al for a concrete
pavement. Sartre filed and contract awarded as follows:

Concerning the improvement of the roadway of Cherry Street
from►•Jefferson Street to a point 10 ftnorth of New York Central R. R. with asphalt,
asphaltic concrete, bitulithic, concrete or $riok, in pursuan.oe to improvement
Resolution No. this Board finds that no petition has been filed with said -Board
by a mjority in number of the freeholders residing on said street tube improved
requesting that it be improved with a different kind of pacemenr than the kind herete-
fore adopted by the Board in Its preliminary order; and the.City Engineer reports
that*Hoban & Roach is the lowest and best bidder for the kind or pavement heretofore
adopted bja the Board, and the Board finds that Hoban & Roach is the lowest and best
bidder and hereby lets the said contract for said improvement to them,and orders
that said improvement be grade with concrete and all proceedings heretofore had in this
matter are hereby confirmed and ratified.
