Matter of a contract with the Eleo Co. for lights in-Sr=ymede Addition discussed with Mr. Qualls and Mayor Seebirt. Mr. Qualls instructed to take this matter up with Elea. Company. Bids were received, opened and read For water connections on Talbot Avenue from Howard Street to South Bend Avenue. Bids were submitted by Wm. H. Burke and Rocco Simeri, also on Parkovash Avenue.from Lafayette -Street to IrogNois Street, Referred to Engineer for tabulation to be reported at 7:15 P.M. this 27th. day of May 1925. Bids were submitted by Hibberd Printlgg Company and Peterson Prtg. Company on Ordinance for fund for Cemetery Lots. Contract awarded to. Hibberd.Prte'. Company for 2000 books at,...... 42.50. P esident, Board met in regular session at 7:15 P.M. All members present, Hearing had on resolution for pavement on Twenty first Street from Mishawaka Avenue to Pleasaht Street as provided in Improvement Resolu�ion No. 1488 In the above matter a remonstrator appeared but no written remonstrane* was filed. After hearing, the Board decides that the benefits to property liable to be assessed for said improvement, are egasl to the estimated cost of the same, and the Board thereto now confirms the said resolution. Date for receiving, opening and considering sealed proposals for the construction of said improvement fixed as June 16th., 1925 at 10:00 A M and notice thereof ordered published as provided by law. Hearing had on resolution for pavement on Twenty seventh -Street from Mishawaka Avenue to Pleasant Street as provided in*improvement Resolution No.L, 1487 In the Sbovt matter no remonstrators appeared and.no written remonstrance was filed. After hearing, the Board decides that the benefits to property liable to be assessed ger said improvement, are equal to the estimated cost of the same, and the Board thereoo now confirms the said resolution. Date for receiving, opening and considering sealed proposals for the construction of said pavement fixed as June l6th,9 1925-at 10:00 A.M. and notice thereof ordered published as provided by law. Hearing had on resolution for pavement on Vassar.Avenuo from Portage Avenue to Lawndale Avenue as provided in improvement Resolution No. 1486. Vo remonstrators appeared and no remonstrance filed. JProperty owners appeared and discussed matter of sewer in first block, same to be put in by private contract. ) Alter hearing, the Board decides that the benefits tomproperty liable to be assessed for said improvement, are equal to the estimated cost of the same, and the Board. therefor now confirms the said resolution. Date for receiving, opening and considering sealed proposals for the construction of said xt=r improvement fixed as June 16th., 1925 at 10:00 -A.M. and notice thereof ordered published as provided by law. This being the date set for the deferred hearing on roll of awards of damages and assessments of benefits for the Opening of a street from Colfax Avenue to. Lincoln wary West and from Marion Street to;Navarre Street (_Known ald as Wiliam St. under Condemnation Resolution No. 83. In, the abovematter remonstrators appeared but no further written remonstrance was filer. After hearing all parties, present said hearing is bow continued until Wednesday June 10th.9 1925 at 7:15 P.M.
